Description
Español: El Escudo de Macuro vigente está formado por Cuatro partes llamadas cuarteles:

• El cuartel superior Izquierdo. Posee al santo Patrono de Macuro San Cristobal.

• El cuartel superior Derecho. Tiene un grupo de indígenas Kariña que fueron los primeros habitantes de Macuro .

• El cuartel inferior izquierdo. hay un cacao que abunda en el área ,un pez que muestra que macuro es un área pesquera y una tortuga Carey que simboliza que Macuro es un santuario para esta especie.

• El cuartel inferior derecho hay uno de los Barcos de Christobal Colon y simboliza que fue el único lugar de America Continental conde el admirante toco tierra

• Encima de los cuarteles hay un Sol que representa la que Macuro es el lugar donde nace el sol de Venezuela.

• A los lados del Escudo hay una mata de coco el cual abunda en las costas.

• En la cinta triocolor aparecen las siguientes inscripciones: 2 de Agosto de 1.498 –fecha de la llegada de Cristobal colon al Pueblo y Macuro en el Centro.
