Español: Escudo del municipio de Santa Fe de Antioquia (Colombia): De origen romano, cuadrilongo y raso, y confinado en las proporciones de cinco por seis, ostenta en su fondo un cuartel esmaltado en oro, contorneado por otro con esmalte de plata y color azul. (...) Un roble de tronco grueso de color sable al centro, a cuya siniestra se apoya un león rampante de color natural, (...) En dirección a la punta del escudo, en los límites con el otro cuartel, el tronco del predicho roble asienta sus raíces dentro de una laguna, (...) retornamos al segundo cartel en agua, con ondas de plata y azul (...) Se completa el escudo de armas de la ilustre ciudad y villa, con una orle de plata constituida por seis murciélagos de sable, en actitud de volar y abiertas sus fauces, listos para chupar, dos menos de los concedidos también el mismo día por los mismos soberanos al fundador, figuras naturales que parecen simbolizar, por sus ágiles movimientos, la libertad.
