Català: Escut municipal de Moixent (la Costera, País Valencià), en vigor entre 1979 i 1993: «D'atzur, el castell d'or, de tres torres, portes i finestres de sable (que és negre), carregat en lletres de sable “Moxente”; aquesta paraula trisíl·laba -que en altre cas podria resultar redundant- sembla oportuna ara, per la reiteració en l'armorial civil de torres i castells. Al timbre, corona reial, tancada». L'escut fou rehabilitat per Reial Decret 2845/1979, de 5 d'octubre (BOE núm. 277 de 19/11/1979). Va ser modificat posteriorment, per Resolució de 2 de febrer de 1993 (DOGV núm. 1.986 de 17/03/1993). Els colors són els que hi apareixen a l'annex IV del Decret 72/2015, de 15 de maig.

Rehabilitado por Real Decreto 2845/1979, de 5 de octubre (BOE núm. 277 de 19/11/1979) y modificado por Resolución de 2 de febrero de 1993 (DOGV núm. 1.986 de 17/03/1993). Los colores son los que se indican en el anexo IV del Decreto 72/2015, de 15 de mayo.
