Summary edit

Description
Português: Esquema Elétrico Funcional do Transmissor de Ondas - Aparelho patenteado no United States Patent Office, em 11 de Outubro de 1904
English: Drawing from U.S patent 771,917, a Spark gap transmitter that transmitted human speech, invented by Brazilian priest Roberto Landell de Moura. It was also patented in Brazil March 9, 1901. The first recognised AM {amplitude modulation) radio transmission, by Reginald Fessendon in the US, was on December 23, 1900, so de Moura was one of the first inventors of AM radio, and may have preceded Fessendon. His invention was ignored by the Brazilian government and forgotten.
