Esta estación contaba anteriormente con una vía para virar locomotoras (Y) a vapor, además de servicio de ferrocarril Decauville a una hacienda cercana. Este era el punto importante ya que los trenes a vapor que subían de Grajales a La venta se enfrentaban a una elevación considerable. Hoy esta en abandono.
