English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
The Dutch Railways have put a movable washing installation for cleaning trains into use in Leidschendam. SHOTS: engine driver cleans the windscreen of a train; engine driver drives his train into the so-called train shower; the outside of the train is cleaned by brush machines moving alongside the train in the new washing installation in Leidschendam; foreign workers clean the compartment by swiping the litter, hosing down the compartment and washing the garbage can (comment by Bloemendaal: "Luckily, we have our foreign workers for all these types of work"); clean compartment; train passes railway crossing with waiting cars and a sign reading 'WAIT another CLEAN train can pass'.

De Nederlandse Spoorwegen hebben in Leidschendam een verrijdbare was-installatie in gebruik genomen waarmee treinen gereinigd worden. SHOTS: machinist maakt voorruit van trein schoon; machinist in trein rijdt naar zgn. treinendouche; de buitenkant van de trein wordt gereinigd in nieuwe was-installatie in Leidschendam waarbij borstelmachines langs de trein rijden; treincoupé wordt schoongemaakt door gastarbeiders met opvegen van afval, schoonspuiten coupé en wassen van prullenbak (commentaar Bloemendal: "Voor al deze karweitjes hebben we gelukkig onze gastarbeiders"); schone coupé; trein passeert spoorwegovergang met wachtende auto's en bord 'WACHT er kan nog een SCHONE trein komen'. |
