English: bus (reg. J353 BSH), a 1992 Leyland Olympian double-decker with Alexander RH bodywork, pictured outside Chesterfield College in Derbyshire, operating the college shuttle service. Having been purchased from a dealer in February, it's been pressed into service with some apparent haste - it's still wearing the colours of its former owner Arriva North East (Arriva Northumbria), with just the Arriva fleetname and fleetnumers removed. It also cannot be a coincidence that route 45 was one of its former haunts while in Northumbria. It's since been repainted into TM Travel colours, represented by the vehicle behind.

J353 BSH was new to London Buses Ltd as their dual-door fleet no. L353. It was one of four of the L class to be delivered with coach seating (351-354). It ended up in Arriva ownership via its 1994 privatisation into the Leaside Buses fleet. From June 2003 it worked in the Leaside Travel fleet, and in January 2006 it was transferred to Arriva North East, who eventually sold it to a Bolton based dealer in January 2009. By at least the time of Arriva North East, it had lost its centre door, leaving an odd shaped window in its place.

Between September 2004 and January 2006 it was re-registered with the plate VLT 173. That plate originally belonged to Routemaster RM173, which was re-registered KGH 856A in 1990 by London Buses, before being sold and scrapped in 1991.
