Description

A U.S. Navy Grumman F-14A-65-GR Tomcat (BuNo 158629) from Fighter Squadron 2 (VF-2) "Bounty Hunters" in flight on 12 September 1973. the aircraft was on a flight out of Naval Air Station Miramar, California (USA), with CDR Joseph A. Brantaus and LCDR Joel R. Graffman as crew.

The F-14A 158629 later crashed during an airshow at Naval Air Staion Willow Grove, Pennsylvania (USA), on 18 June 2000, while in service with VF-101. Both crew were killed.
