Description Three U.S. Navy Grumman F-14A Tomcat aircraft of Fighter Squadron 32 (VF-32) "Swordsmen" fly in formation over the Nevada desert prior to emergency deployment to Red Sea for Operation Desert Shield. VF-32 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 3 (CVW-3) aboard the aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67) for a deployment to the Red Sea from 15 August 1990 to 28 March 1991.
