Description
English: A view of the underside of a Fighter Squadron 33 (VF-33) F-14A Tomcat aircraft as it returns to the aircraft carrier USS AMERICA (CV 66) after an escort mission during Operation Desert Storm. The aircraft is carrying AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles on the outboard part of each wing pylon and AIM-7 Sparrow missiles on the inboard part. Beneath the fuselage is one AIM-7 Sparrow and two AIM-54 Phoenix missiles.
