Description
English: An F-16 Fighting Falcon takes off for a Max Thunder sortie Nov. 5, 2013, at Kunsan Air Base, South Korea. Airmen from the U.S. Air Force, Marine Corps and the South Korean air force continued their participation in scenarios and planning cycles in a robust exercise setting that simulated combined operations against a hostile force. This combined large-force employment exercise includes 8th Fighter Wing F-16 Fighting Falcons, 51st Fighter Wing A-10 Thunderbolts II and F-16s, Marine Air Group 12 F-18 Hornets, AV-8B Harriers II, 35th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, 18th Wing E-3B Sentries, numerous South Korean air force aircraft and accompanying support personnel. The F-16 is assigned to the 80th Fighter Squadron.
