Description
English: U.S. Navy aircraft of Carrier Air Wing 17 (CVW-17) begin start-up procedures prior to launching from the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70). Carl Vinson was underway conducting a composite training unit exercise off the coast of Southern California (USA). Visible aircraft are (front to back): A McDonnell Douglas F/A-18C Hornet of Strike Fighter Squadron 94 (VFA-94) "Shrikes", two Boeing F/A-18E Super Hornets of VFA-81 "Sunliners", and two F/A-18F of VFA-22 "Fighting Redcocks".
