Description A U.S. Navy McDonnell F-4B-15-MC Phantom II (BuNo 151003) of Fighter Squadron 21 (VF-21) "Free Lancers" releases bombs on a Viet Cong concentrations in South Vietnam in October 1965. The aircraft was piloted by LTJG Michael D. Hanley and the flight officer was LTJG James B. Mills. VF-21 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 2 8CVW-2) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Midway (CVA-41) for a deployment to Vietnam from 6 March to 23 November 1965.
