Description	A U.S. Navy Vought F-8A Crusader (BuNo 143810) of Fighter Squadron 62 (VF-62) "Boomerangs" is launched from the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVAN-65), during an air-power demonstration that was part of President John F. Kennedy's visit the U.S. Atlantic Fleet, 14 April 1962. VF-62 was assigned to Carrier Air Group 1 (CVG-1) for the shakedown cruise of the Big E to the Atlantic Ocean from 5 February to 5 April 1962.
