Description Two U.S. Navy Vought F8U-2N (F-8D) Crusader (BuNo 148696, 148701) from Fighter Squadron VF-132 Peg Leg Petes in flight. VF-132 was assigned to Carrier Air Group 13 (CVG-13). Both were established on 21 August 1961 and deployed aboard the aircraft carrier USS Constellation (CVA-64) for her shakedown cruise in the Atlantic Ocean from 3 March to 6 May 1962. Then, on 1 October 1962, CVG-13 (and with it VF-132) were disestablished again.
