Originally F-WUAD and later F-ODCX, F-BUAD was the 3rd Prototype A300 built in Jun-73. It was leased to General Electric in Jan-89 as an engine testbed. Sold to SOGERMA in May-96 it was leased to Novespace and operated for 11 years giving 'weightless' training to astronauts and others. It was retired and stored at Bordeaux (BOD) in mid 2007. It was last noted still stored at BOD in Dec-12. |
