Deutsch: Im Vordruck für das Jahr 1904 datierte Aufnahme im Verlag des Fotografen Friedrich Astholz junior, hier als Ansichtskarte mit der fortlaufenden Nummer 458 per Lichtdruck vervielfältigt. Zu sehen ist eine Ansicht in der Oststadt von Hannover, und zwar ein Blick von der im Vordergrund quer durch das Bild verlaufenden Eichstraße längs durch Rumannstraße bis zu der Bödekerstraße in der Bildmitte im Hintergrund. Im Vordergrund rechts, hinter den beiden Knaben auf dem Bürgersteig in Höhe der wartenden Pferdekutsche, ist das Geburtshaus des späteren hannoverschen Künstlers Kurt Schwitters zu sehen, der in dem bis heute erhaltenen Erdgeschoss des Hauses unter der - heutigen - Adresse Rumannstraße 8, zum Zeitpunkt der Aufnahme die seinerzeitige Hausnummer 2. Auf der linken Straßenseite sind die drei heute denkmalgeschützten hellen Gebäude zu erkennen: Unter der damaligen Adresse Rumannstraße 26A bis 27, betrieb die Schulgründerin Julie Boysen und später die Lehrerin Elisabeth Granier privat die dann als Ost-Lyzeum bekannt gewordene Mädchenschule, aus der sich die spätere Ricarda-Huch-Schule entwickelte.
