Description A U.S. Navy Vought F4U-4 Corsair from U.S. Naval Air Reserve Fighter Squadron 783 (VF-783) crashes off the bow of the aircraft carrier USS Bon Homme Richard (CV-31). VF-783 was assigned to Carrier Air Group 102 (CVG-102) aboard the Bonnie Dick for a deployment to Korea from 10 May to 17 December 1951.
