| Description | U.S. Marine Corps Grumman F9F-5 Panther jets from Marine Attack Squadron VMA-223 "Bulldogs" are being refueled aboard the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Wasp (CVA-18). Note the ladders necessary to refuel the wingtip tanks. VMA-223 was assigned to Carrier Air Group 15 (CVG-15) aboard the Wasp for a deployment to the Western Pacific from 23 April to 15 October 1956. |
