English: U.S. Navy Landing Signal Officers (LSO) give instructions to the crew of a Grumman E-2C Hawkeye of Carrier Airborne Early Earning Squadron 126 (VAW-126) "Seahawks" as it prepares to make an arrested landing on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) in the Persian Gulf, 31 January 2005. Harry S. Truman, with assigned Carrier Air Wing 3 (CVW-3), was deployed to the Mediterranean Sea and the Persian Gulf from 13 October 2004 to 18 April 2005.
