Nederlands: Links in de Smedenstraat zien we de pijpenhandel Toussein en rechts daarvan café In de Toeslag. Achterliggend situeert zich de Noordzandstraat. Centraal zien we op het plein het hotel Courtrai-Littoral met rechts daarvan een kapperszaak. Helemaal rechts op de foto zien we een gedeelte van het telegraafkantoor. Het werd gesloopt in 1948. Bemerk in het straatbeeld de automobiel en de fietsers. Bemerk ook nog de tramrails van lijn 5 Brugge - Sint-Andries. Nog even vermelden dat het spoorwegbareel verdween op 31 maart 1939. |
