Nederlands: We bemerken rechts de zeepziederij Pattyn en links op de prentbriefkaart de villa van de heer Van Iseghem. Op 4 januari 2022 ontvingen we vanwege Roland Rotsaert volgende reactie : 'De beschrijving vermeldt 'zeepziederij Pattyn', terwijl het eigenlijk gaat om gebouwen aan de andere kant van het kanaal, de zeepziederij van de familie Roelandts (NV Sobelim) (zie o.m. 'Parochie Steenbrugge vroeger en nu', p. 122-124). Het provinciaal archief heeft een reeks dossiers over oorlogsschade aan deze gebouwen (en die van de blijkbaar verwante firma Baert langs de Vaartdijkstraat) opgemaakt door architect Charels. De bij de dossiers gepubliceerde tekeningen zijn van slechte kwaliteit, maar er zijn ook nog niet-gepubliceerde foto's.' Wij danken de heer Rotsaert voor zijn informatieve inbreng.
