  • Significance: An important aspect of Alaska's transportation history is represented by this Lodge at the junction of the Eagle and Fairbanks trails. Constructed on the site of the Gakona Roadhouse to meet the need created by increased traffic through interior Alaska, the lodge continues to operate to the present.
