Description

ЛИЦЕВОЙ ЛЕТОПИСНЫЙ СВОД [После этого прошло некоторое время, и прибежали к нему отроки, горько плача, все в слезах, и сказали: «Господин, любимый наш князь, уже грядут за тобой, убийцами твоими посланы от царя Азбяка Беркан и Черкас». Он же, воздев] руки на небо, начал молиться: «Господи, да сбудется воля Твоя, а не моя, и как захочешь — быть мне живому или мертвому — подай мне милость свою и прости мне все прегрешения мои!» И когда он молился, слезы непрестанно текли из очей его, и все вокруг стояли со слезами.

И вот, пришли посланники от царя к стану его. Он же вышел к ним со смирением. И так и был убит с сыном своим Феодором: отсекли им головы. Бояре же и слуги разбежались. Некоторые же, оставшиеся тут, взяли их тела и повезли на Русь. И, когда были они во Владимире, встретил их Феогност, митрополит Киевский и всея Руси, со священным собором, исполнили надгробное
