Description
English: Family of William Rennie, Christmas day curling party, Swansea (now a neighbourhood of Toronto), Ontario, Canada. Rennie (1835-1910) was an agriculturist, seed merchant, farm superintendent, author and avid curler. He founded the William Rennie Company Limited, a purveyor of agricultural and horticultural seeds and supplies. Rennie took a leading role in the development of the area that would be incorporated as the Village of Swansea in 1926.
