Description

The feet of a statue of Ramses III, created in Egypt about 1279 to 1213 BC. Found in Egypt, but the location is not clear.

This sandstone statue has cartouches on the base which establish that this was Ramses III. His feet are crushing the Nine Bows -- symbolic of the traditional nine enemy nations of Egypt.
