English: Portrait of Ferdinand I of the Two Sicilies (1751-1825)
Italiano: Ritratto di Ferdinando IV di Borbone è raffigurato in divisa della marina, con bordi collo e polsi in rosso, nella mano destra impugna un bastone dorato, la sinistra è sul petto appoggiata alle tre fasce sovrapposte, la superiore delle quali è rossa bordata in blu. Sul petto ci sono tre placche: sono, dall'alto, quella di Cavaliere dell'Insigne Real Ordine di S. Gennaro, quella del Real ed Insigne Ordine di Carlo III ed altra non identificata. Sfondo grigio scuro.
Per confronti si rimanda ad un ritratto aulico del sovrano attribuito a Francesco Liani con datazione agli anni Settanta, in collezione privata (cfr. Massimo Pisani in "Ritratti napoletani dal Cinquecento all'Ottocento", Napoli, 1996, p. 29). La catena inventariale è purtroppo molto lacunosa a causa dell'assenza di etichette con numeri d'inventario anteriori al 1927 e alla genericità delle descrizioni presenti nelle fonti storiche.
