RoRo/passenger ship Ishitegawa, at the Ujina Terminal, Port of Hiroshima. 日本語: 瀬戸内海汽船「石手川」 （広島港 宇品旅客ターミナル） 宇品は以前から訪れたかった。この港から大陸に将兵が送られたから。日清・日露、その後の数々の戦役、太平洋戦争、その度に、兵士たちが全国から広島まで鉄道で運ばれて、ここから戦地へと出征した。その意味で、日本でもっとも戦場に近い港だったのかもしれない。 宇品から呉までフェリーで帰ってみる。夜の船ははじめて。海風が気持ちいい。 |
