| Description |
English: Field and pylon east of Bury Lane. This is a 132 KV pylon. The overhead lines originally continued to Marchwood substation but have recently been changed to go underground here. This is so they can get underneath the new 400 KV lines to Marchwood Power Station (under construction 2008) see983554. OS maps have not yet caught up with this slightly repositioned pylon the coordinates of which I estimated. |
