English: Field in Kirklees Park, Hartshead, Yorkshire. Taken across the valley from the footpath section of Hartshead Hall Lane. This field was formerly parkland, but is now cultivated. I was puzzled by the artificial-looking profile of the field; the OS map suggests a more even slope. Robin Hood's Grave is in the wood on the horizon (see other photo). |
