| Description |
English: Fields and wood near Wylye 1. This view looking south east from just south of the A303 trunk road is of a crop field in chalk downland and the wood of Thatch Hill to the right. The wood is designated by West Wiltshire District Council as a site of nature conservation importance. In the distance is the western side of Wylye Down (pronounced 'Why-lee'), a part of which is a National Nature Reserve. This picture is the first of a series going left to right, the next being 874273. |
