English: TE-polarized fundamental mode in a mirror waveguide. Mirror separation is d=1000 nm. As the wavelength is increasing decreases and phase velocity is increasing. At cut-off wavelength at = 2000 nm the field is constant along the waveguide and after the cut-off the field is evanescent. |
