Italiano: FILATOIO TACCHI (1822)
(Via Tartarotti) Il filatoio Tacchi fu eretto nel 1765 e ampliato nel 1804,data scritta al di sopra della porta principale. La lapide ricorda la visita, nel 1822, dello zar Alessandro e dell'imperatore d'Austria Francesco I, che nella setssa occassione visitarono anche la filanda Bettini a Lizzanella. Il testo è inciso in capitali latine su una stele di pietra, rinchiusa in una semplice bardatura. In essa viene ricordata la visita dell’imperatore Francesco Giuseppe I d’Austria e dello zar di Russia Alessandro I, entrambi diretti dal Congresso della Santa Alleanza, tenuto a Verona agli inizi dell’ottobre del 1822. Per questa occasione ci furono grandi preparativi per la cerimonia; furono preparate iscrizioni di benvenuto su legno o carta da appendere alle porte della città e sulle facciate degli edifici. |
