Eesti: 6. dets 2017 täitus sada aastat iseseisva Soome Vabariigi väljakuulutamisest. Selle tähtpäeva auks valgustati mitmed tuntud objektid nii Soomes kui ka mujal maailmas (näiteks Niagara juga ja Colosseum) üheks või ka mitmeks ööks sinise – soome siniristilipu valgusega. Lõuna-Soomes Hyvinkääl sai piduvärvidesse arhitekt Aarno Ruusuvuori projekti järgi 1961 a valminud kirik.
English: Finland became an independent state on 6 December 1917. Thus in 2017, Finland celebrated 100th year of independence. In December 2017, many famous objects in all over the world (for example, Niagara Falls and Colosseum) were lighted with blue lights one or more nights – in honour of 100-year-old independent Republic of Finland. Blue is a colour of Finland because of the blue Nordic cross on flag of Finland. In Hyvinkää (Uusimaa, Finland), the main church (Aarno Ruusuvuori, 1961) got the blue lighting of the anniversary party. |
