Description Tuesday, 5th January 2010 brought heavy snow to Greater Manchester which at one point caused First to take off all their routes. As conditions improved during the day, routes were gradually restarted as road conditions allowed. Here a Wright Gemini-bodied Volvo B9TL is seen passing along The Crescent in Salford, with the former Salford Technical School, now part of the University of Salford peeking from behind the trees.
