| Description |
English: Five Pits Trail. This northerly facing photograph is of point where the Tibshelf-Pilsley section of the Five Pits Trail crosses Westwood Brook via an embankment. Ahead the trail leads up a fairly long rise toward Pilsley.
To the right of the viewpoint there is a small plantation, the western edge of which can be seen in the picture. Westwood Brook flows through this plantation along a perfectly straight, narrow channel. To the left of the bend in the trail was a small tree covered in 625257! To see a photograph of the trail taken from some four or five metres ahead but facing back through this viewpoint in the opposite (southerly) direction, click here 624407. Some 50metres ahead is 624144. One of many such areas placed along the trail. To see a more northerly (ahead) photograph of the trail, click here 624116.
