| Description |
English: Flag of Far Madding, from the The Wheel of Time novels. In The Wheel of Time Companion, the sigil of Far Madding is described as "a woman’s golden hand which was open, fingers up: the Golden Hand" and the flag of the city is described as "a blue field divided vertically in the center by an elongated red oval of even dimensions; on the side nearest the flagstaff was the Golden Hand and on the outer end of the flag there was a golden sword, a simple straight blade and cross quillons, point upward." A black-and-white impression of the flag can be seen in a chapter icon that appears throughout Winter's Heart, at the beginnings of certain chapters that take place in Far Madding. |
