Флаг посёлка Усть-Ижора Санкт-Петербурга представляет собой полотнище в пропорции ширины к длине — один к двум. Полотнище белое, олицетворяющее собой чистоту православной государственной идеи со времен Александра Невского, давшей возможность называть наше государство — „Русь Святая“. В центре — изображение Герба МО п. Усть-Ижора

Ниже располагаются две голубые волнистые линии (одна вдвое шире другой). Широкая олицетворяет собой реку Неву, вдоль которой в прошлом шел исторический Шлиссельбургский тракт, в настоящее время его функцию выполняет Петрозаводское шоссе государственного значения. Узкая — реку Ижору, в устье которой состоялась историческая битва русских воинов под предводительством А.Невского со шведскими захватчиками.
