Description
Deutsch: Die Basis trug eine Statue, die die Kaiser Arcadius und Honorius im Forum von Trajan kurz nach 402 n. Chr. dem Flavius Saturninus Peregrinus gewidmet hatten. Saturninus, der auch im Codex Theodosianus als Verwalter des kaiserlichen Eigentums erwähnt wurde, übte zweimal das Amt des Präfekten von Rom aus. Der Sockel ist in den Vatikanischen Museen ausgestellt(Inv. 1848).
English: The base have had held a statue dedivated in the forum of Trajan by the emperors Arcadius and Honorius to Flavius Saturninus Peregrinus, shortly after 402 AD. mentioned also in the Codex Theodosianus as administrator of imperial property, Saturninus twice holdig the post of Prefect of Rome. The base is exhibited in the Vatican Museums (Inv. 1848).
