Summary edit
DescriptionFleet Model 2 cockpit.JPG |
English: Fleet Model 2 biplane in the Cradle of Aviation Museum.
The Fleet Model 1 and its derivatives were a family of two-seat trainer and sports plane produced in the United States and Canada in the 1920s and 30s. They all shared the same basic design and varied mainly in their powerplants, model 2 had a Kinner K-5 engine. They were all orthodox biplanes with staggered, single-bay wings of equal span and fixed tailskid undercarriage. This aircraft, NC614M, was the Roosevelt Aviation School's night-flying trainer. It was restored and painted in the colours it had back then.
