Nosal, commander of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 2, with a Detroit Lions jersey at a reception aboard the Oliver Hazard Perry-Class frigate USS De Wert (FFG 45) during the Navy’s commemoration of the bicentennial of the War of 1812 in Detroit. This celebration coincides with Detroit Navy Week, one of 15 signature events planned across America in 2012. The weeklong event commemorates the Bicentennial of the War of 1812, hosting service members from the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Royal Canadian Navy.
