GUAM (Aug, 20, 2012) Master-at-Arms 1st Class Michael Cowan is greeted his his wife, Senior Chief Master-at-Arms Shannon Cowan, in Guam after his return from a four-and-a-half month humanitarian assistance mission in Southeast Asia aboard the Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19). Mercy participated in Pacific Partnership 2012, the largest annual humanitarian and civic action mission in the Asia-Pacific region. Military and civilian professionals from 10 other nations and 14 international and local non-government organizations partnered to execute tailored humanitarian projects and subject matter expert exchanges.
