U.S. Army Spc. Adrian Ghisoiu scores with a right uppercut during his 25-8 loss to Adon Ortiz of Sterling, Ill., in the 112-pound semifinals of the 2009 U.S. National Boxing Championships at the Denver Coliseum, Col., June 11, 2009. Ghisoiu is stationed on Fort Hood, Texas. Ghisoiu took fourth place in the tournament after U.S. Army World Class Athlete Program coach Basheer Abdullah stopped his bronze-medal bout against Michael Ruiz Jr. of Fresno, Calif., at 2:49 of the second round.
