Description

Sgt. 1st Class Thomas Yaudas, a platoon sergeant from Austin, Texas, and Staff Sgt. Justin Works, a squad leader from Crossett, Ark., discuss potential security risks Jan. 28 during polling site security assessments in the Abu T'shir community of the Rashid district in southern Baghdad. The Soldiers of Troop C, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division-Baghdad, increased security operations working alongside Iraqi security forces to ensure Iraq's provincial elections scheduled for Jan. 31 are a success. The elections are Iraq's third democratic elections since the beginning of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003.
