During his deployment, Halski earned two Purple Heart Medals, two ARCOMs, an Iraqi Campaign Medal, and a Combat Infantryman Badge. He is a native of Omaha, Neb., and serves as an infantryman with Company C, 2nd Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad. Baine, a native of Beaumont, Texas, is the battalion commander for 2nd Bn., 30th Inf. Regt.
