EverGreene Painting Studios Oil on Canvas 1993-1994 On a map of the lands purchased in 1867, an Eskimo hunts in a kayak; nearby seal and walrus represent the fur trade as well as the subsistence of the indigenous people. On the map are various towns that were important in drawing people to Alaska. This official Architect of the Capitol photograph is being made available for educational, scholarly, news or personal purposes (not advertising or any other commercial use).
