Description Weeks Marine Inc. lifts the missing engine from the downed US Airways Flight 1549 from the Hudson River. Army Corps of Engineers boats were there at the scene as the engine was being lifted out of the water.The engine was seperated from the plane after it had crashed into the Hudson River on Thursday, January 15. The engine was found approximately 60 ft deep in the water.
