English: Floating pontoon, Anstruther harbour These floating pontoons have allowed Anstruther harbour to attract many more pleasure craft. The pontoons rise and fall with the tide as do the boats moored to them. The gangway has rollers on its pontoon end and as the tide rises the pontoon end gradually moves along the top of the deck. |
