Summary

edit
Description Our research lab (http://climate.uvic.ca) occasionally hosts school children from nearby schools. The graduate students do lots of small, short demonstrations to teach some concept from physics, oceanography, weather, and climate. In this demonstration Ross shows how fluids can be stratified and how density differences can drive fluid flow.
