English: So-called Portrait of Catherine II of Russia (1729-1796), but is probably a depiction of Maria Antonia Walpurgis of Bavaria (1724-1780).
  • Identification proposed by user Ecummenic (talk) based on the comparison with some portraits of Maria Antonia of Bavaria (see images below) and the lack of physical resemblance of the sitter of this portrait to verified representations of Catherine II.
